Spring Onion Puppet Theatre present ‘Androcles and the Lion’.

Androcles, a kind hearted African boy, goes to the aid of an injured Lion, only for both to be captured by the evil Slyrenious, animal catcher and circus master to the Roman Emperor. The boy and the beast are lured to Rome to be the star attraction at the Emperor’s 'little party'. What fate awaits poor Androcles at the Coliseum? Is he to be the lion’s lunch?

A puppet theatre performance that has delighted family audiences in Ireland and in Europe. Totally surpassing people’s expectations of puppet theatre, it is a combination of the traditional pantomime-like puppet show and a Cecil B. DeMille epic!

Admission is free but as places are limited booking is essential.
