Andy Wilson of the Sustainability Institute presents an evening of information, discussion and debate on Global Warming.

Dr Padraic Larkin, EPA Director, Office of Climate, Licensing and Resource Use said ‘The potential for catastrophic climate change is now acknowledged as one of the most serious threats facing humanity.  Responsibility for dealing with that threat falls to this generation and fundamental and far-reaching structural and lifestyle changes are required if we are to avoid the worst consequences. We simply cannot afford to ignore the problem or to pass it on to our children to deal with. The time for action is now and we need to mobilise everybody to the task if we are to be successful.'

What does Global Warming mean to you? Are you informed about the questions and issues surrounding this topic? Do you think it has any relevance to your life? Finally what, if anything can you do to slow Global Warming? This evening will provide an opportunity to inform yourself, and to discuss what you have learned. Come along and invest in your future!!
