Adventure/Thriller List - This genre is loved by those who like an action packed story full of thrilling and exciting exploits. Books in this genre have a multiplicity of backgrounds including the Cold War, industrial espionage or politics. An increasing number are now being published with a terrorist background.
Crime List - Historically this genre was characterized by the presence of either a Private Investigator or Police Detective with clues and innuendo leading to the final denourment. Today, however, the genre has many subgenres including legal/financial, medical, psychological etc.
Saga List - An extremely popular genre with many readers and often set in an historical context charting the life and times of generations of a particular family.- Library Book Clubs
