Amenities and general information for Turlough parish from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1945
Two form Ds are included in the survey for Turlough parish. One lists the amenities for Turlough village and the other lists the amenities for the remainder of the parish.
Few amenities are listed for Turlough village apart from the school and Post Office. The nearest church is located in Park. The surveyor mentions that fairs used to be held in June and August but that none had been held for three years prior to the survey in 1945.
On the second form, dealing with the remainder of the parish the amenities include Park church and school and Currane national school.
