Amenities and general information on Moygownagh parish, from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1942
Moygownagh parish had a population of approximately 1,100 at the time of the survey, 1942. There was no town or village and very few amenities apart from the
parish church at Ballyglass and national schools at Carn, Glenmore and Crucnacolly.
