First page of Irish Tourist Association Survey, Moygownagh parish, 1942

The survey for Moygownagh parish was completed in 1942 by Conor O'Brien. There were no towns or villages in the parish with the nearest town being Crossmolina. The main attractions for the tourist were shooting and fishing. A few mansions/estates are described in the survey and just one "Antiquity", a peculiar stone building at Carn, 6 miles from Crossmolina.

The headings for the survey are listed below. Clicking on the heading will open the relevant section in the survey.
