Sports and games in Lacken parish, from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1943

The main sporting activity in Lacken parish at the time of the survey was angling in Killala Bay, Lacken Bay and on the Cloonalaghan river. Shooting was also plentiful. Other activities/clubs mentioned were a regatta at Kilcummin in August and Lacken Gaelic Football Club.
