The survey for the parish of Knock was completed in 1945, surveyor M. Mulligan. The main feature of interest in Knock is of course it's fame as a pilgrimage centre. The survey also has a longer than usual list of customs and superstitions - see link below for "Curiosities, customs, patterns". Incidentally, the heading on the first page of each of the forms lists Knock as being located in the Barony of Murrisk. This is an error as the parish is partially in the Barony of Clanmorris and partially in the Barony of Costello. The surveyor does list the correct baronies in the section describing the location and boundaries of the parish.
