Belleek Manor from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1942, Kilmoremoy parish

The only mansion included in this section of the survey for Kilmoremoy parish is Belleek Manor. It was built around 1830 by the Gore family as has been owned successively by the Gore, Knox-Gore and Saunders Knox-Gore families. Shortly prior to the survey it was sold to J. Frank Beckett, Ballina. There is a brief description provided of the building and the estate and a photograph is also included.
