The Irish Tourist Asociation survey for Kilmeena Parish was completed in 1944, surveyor M. Mulligan. It actually covers the two parishes of Kilmeena and Kilmaclasser. In common with many other parishes there are no towns or villages of any note in the area so public amenities were scarce at the time. The bulk of the material in the survey relates to items of historical interest.
