Natural features of Killedan parish, from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1944
Killedan parish is described by the surveyor as being “not outstandingly picturesque”, the exception being the views from the summit of Slieve Horn, which are described in some detail. The other main features in the parish are the Pollagh/Glore/Gweestion river and the Carrick and Derrykinlough lakes.
