The Irish Tourist Association Survey for Killedan parish was carried out by Donal Faughnan in 1944. The focal point of the parish is the town of Kiltimagh, which at that time had a population of 1,000. The most scenic aspect of the parish are the views from Slieve Horn. Also of interest to tourists would be the various antiquities. Apart from some accommodation in Kiltimagh, tourist amenities would have been sparse.
