Listing of sports and games in Kilgeever PArish from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1944
Apart from fishing and shooting the only other sport listed for Kilgeever Parish is handball - there are two handball alleys but no club. Angling facilities are dealt with in great detail, with entries for each of the following waterways:
Bunowen River, Lough Doo, Lough Baun, Lough Gunne, Lough Nahaltora, Glencullen Lough, Carrownisky River, Roonah Lough, Cross Lake, Laghta Eighter Lake, Luganoughaun, Lough Cahasy. There is also an extra page detailing suitable flies and average weights of salmon.
