Listing of amenities and other general information on Louisburgh from Irish Tourist Association Survey for Kilgeever Parish, 1944
Public amenities and general information for Louisburgh are described here. As is to be expected for a village of just 300 population, facilities at that time were few. There was a water supply but no public sewerage system. The main amenities were schools and two churches. Two additional pages are appended describing St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Louisburgh Protestant Church.
