This section of the survey for the parish of Kilcommon-Erris lists a number of premises in Pollathomas, Rossport and Carrowteige with comments, some not very flattering, on the quality of accommodation offered. The surveyor mentions the difficulty for anyone provisding accommodation of procuring suitable foods in the immediate area. Most would have to be purchased in Ballina or Belmullet.
