Details of amenities and other geberal information on Newport from Irish Tourist association Survey, 1942

Details are given of public amenities, services, schools, religious services, fairs and markets. The only public buildings noted are the two Catholic churches. As Mallaranny comes under the heading of “Seaside resorts”, details of the bathing facilities on the nearby beach are provided.
