Details of customs and curiosities in Burriscarra and Ballintober from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1945
There are no descriptions of any customs unique to this area, just mention of the usual customs associated with Shrove Tuesday, St. Brigid’s Day and some funeral customs. The only “Curiosity” deemed worthy of mention is the Aille River, which flows underground for part of its course.
