Historic sites in Ballysakeery parish, from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1943
The only historic site included in the survey for Ballysakeery parish is Mullaghfarry, believed to have been the site of the great assembly of King Awley, where he, his sons and 12,000 followers were baptised by Saint Patrick.
