Historic sites in Attymass parish from Irish Tourist Association Survey, 1944
The only historic site described in the survey for Attymass parish is Clocán na Mallachtaí (Stony place of the curses) in Lissardmore townland. This was reputed to be the site of a battle of which two different accounts are presented by the surveyor.
