The document,  Form A, Irish Tourist Association Survey describes the main topographical and geological features of Achill. Included are descriptions of outstanding scenic views, natural attractions and any unusual topographical features.

The geology of the area is also briefly described. Mention is made in this section of any unusual geographical features or formations. An example from Achill is the Cathedral Rocks, located at the east end of Keel Strand
